Know one knew

Know one knew on the 15th of April
that God would call an Angel home
who was loved by everyone that knew him,
Know one knew that this handsome young man would be taking away so soon
Within a blink of an eye he was gone
he went home to glory unable to finish his untold story called life,
Know one knew that someones son
Someones grandson and someones brother
wouldn't make it to see another day
know one knew any of this know one but God could possibly know what was in store for this beautiful soul
that will now live in the inside of me and a lot of other people that knew him
Marcus life was taken too soon but only God could have known that it was his time
So float on little brother with your beautiful wings beyond the sky and continue to watch over everything, as I know you will.

    I WROTE THIS POEM IN DEDICATION OF MY LITTLE BROTHER HIS NAME IS MARCUS GREER HE WAS KILLED 3 YEARS AGO AT THE AGE OF 17 BY ANOTHER TEEN ON THE WESTSIDE OF CHICAGO THE DAY HE WAS KILLED CHANGE MY LIFE FOREVER, THE VIOLENCE IN CHICAGO NEED TO STOP IT'S NOTHING BUT BABIES KILLING BABIES IT A SHAME WHEN THE KIDS CAN'T EVEN GO OUTSIDE IN THERE FRONT YARD TO PLAY!!!!!
