The city my home

by Dr sarat sonowal   Jul 1, 2011

The beggar on the street
The laughter of the rich
A boy without his mother
Crying holding his tears

The growling sounds of the vehicles
And a million heart beats
The city's chaos....
The city's soul is being tempered
By its inhabitants
who is responsible for this

An explosion of high decibel
And an enigmatic silence than we hear
A hundreds of broken dreams
And a protest for the sin
Turns into violence
Of unpredictable scene

Man fights against each other
Killing each in vain
And the debate on the T.V. screen
who is responsible for this

The city my home
Will never be the same

But the debate on the T.V screen
who is responsible for this
Will continue
Only to mislead
