Whispering air

by Ashley jean   Jul 11, 2011

I hear whispers in the air, when I think of you.
I remember your voice, our memories, although we had few.

Our family and friends referred to you as "the glue" you held us together through every feud.

you're headstrong, confident, and you never let anyone get you down. so, tell me how a car accident put you six feet underground?

Life stole you away from our world in a matter of seconds, and when your birthday or a holiday rolls around, to your existence, our memory beckons.

you will not be forgotten, you are etched into our hearts, now that you're in heaven, dying to me, seems not so harsh.

I love you, Auntie
