(Sorry for the suckish rhyming I did this at one in the morning.)

I was screaming and crying, so you hit me.
I can't leave you and I don't know why.
You keep yelling at me to leave you be,
So I continued to cry.

One day while you were out,
I went to go see my best friend.
He was someone I could not live without,
And I loved him till the end.

We hung out and kissed,
Something you never did to me.
It was a feeling I ever so missed,
And I knew we were meant to be.

I guess you were coming back from the bar,
and spotted us as we ate.
I knew that you weren't far,
but never suspected you catch us on a date.

You surprised me and pulled out a gun,
and my love told me it was the end,
but I knew it had just begun,
as I jumped in front of my best friend.

I guess you didn't care which one of us you shot,
And I waited for the pain to come.
Surprisingly, it did not.
And what I saw was something I could not overcome.

It turns out my friend jumped in front of me,
and took a shot to his heart.
I knew this couldn't be,
And with him I could not depart.

Then I saw something on the ground,
and I visioned my friend on one knee.
For the object I had found,
was an engagement ring for me. </3
