Lilys Story

by Jazzy   Jul 28, 2011

The MakeUp Covers My Black Eye. The Baggy Clothes Cover The bruises. The Other Children Stare As I Walk Into Class With The Same Dress On I Wore Two Days Before. The Teacher Wonders when she sees me sitting at my desk without pencil or paper. The lunch ladies cry when for the third day this week i sit down at the lunch table with no food. As i walk slowly home from shcool the neighbors watch me carry my heavy books. I walk into my house, close the door as quitly as possible and tiptoe up to my room. My Mother Comes in and slams the door. The Neighbors hear screaming but they turn out the lights. The next day at shcool the children ask why i havent come into shcool today. And with a tear in her eye and ache in her heart. She says to the children, Lily No Longer Has To Wear The Ame Dress To shcool Every Day. She No Longer Has To Borrow Pencils Nor Lunch Money. Lily No Longer Has To Carry her Books Home, Or Do Homework. She doesnt Have To Hide Her Bruises Or Lie About Her Black Eye. Lily Now Has As Many Dresses As She Wants, She Has Pencils, Paper, And A Bookbag. Lily Has Food EveryDay. She Will Never Be Hurt Again. Lily Lives With Jesus Now. And She Is Much Happier. Lily Is Loved.
