Lonely Child

by Lucero G   Jul 28, 2011

Bones are aching, the hearth is cracking
There is no love that can touch this soul
There is a child crying alone...
Tears with no hope have made a memory scar,
Shadows on the walkway are getting closer
Fear can be smell all the way from closet...
Evil is waiting for an opportunity to harm
Innocence is neglected in this cruel world...
There is no more strength to move forward
A child is standing on the dark,
Waiting to see the light, before the enemy arrives...
Daddy is way gone, Mommy loves the tyrant as much as liquor
The child pays the price of an endless addiction,
The pain is getting stronger and the will is getting weaker...
Sitting on the corner the child wonders if the pain will ever die,
It's hurting less than the other day, maybe tomorrow would be gone...
Nobody's child heartbreaks as the shadow stands and stares
Wishing it was gone only for one day, while the mind fly away,
One more night of prayers, maybe someone will hear
Hoping for the guardians angels to magically appear
Giving nobody's child a taste of love on exchange of these fears...
Before the time is too late and this child forever disappears
