Reflections

by angelduv   Aug 3, 2011

The water glows in the moonlight,
As the breeze strokes the air.
The stars burn brightly,
Like cities in despair.

The moon's luminous glow,
Spins circles in the sky.
The stars paint a picture,
Of you by my side.

It's hard to believe this picture,
Or to believe your love,
Because when you're not with me.
I challenge the picture above.

Give me some signal,
Show me some sign,
That I'm not just foolish,
That you're truly mine.

I do not doubt you love me,
But it's hard to remember sometimes.
Because you're never with me,
I get lost in my mind.

This started out with moonlight,
And somehow trailed to you,
I have no explanation,
Except that I love you.
