Bigger than Me

by Brianna   Aug 15, 2011

Here I am standing here, lost all alone in fear,
Thinking that my life's goanna end.
The rain is crashing down; all around on the ground, Drowning the concrete pavement.
I wish I could cast a spell, to keep life alive and well, But no all my life is dead.
My loneliness lingers on, all the words that made me strong,
I believed every word that you said.
Thanks to you now I know, it was all just a show;
You never meant it at all.
All the lies you wrapped up in, made your forget me when,
You said you'd catch me when I fall.
Now I know about the lies, I can be alright,
Nothing you do can hurt me.
Sometimes I feel the rush, the adrenaline through my blood,
Knowing that you won't ever be,
Bigger than me.
