Loving Years

by Soulful Ensemble   Aug 15, 2011

Years may go by
Ever so fast.
Seasons say goodbye,
Leaving at last.
Flowers will bloom
Only to fall.
Snow might loom
And bury the halls.
July came and went
With much rain spent;
And now the sun burns
So all that grew turns--
Into colors of dark brown
Until it starts to fall down.
Old things will be worn
And many papers torn.
Time will take loved ones
But they wont be gone;
While memories swarm
From dusk until dawn.
Lives might change forever
But love will keep us together
Every single day--
Whatever the weather.
