Why cant it be ?

Darkness is filling space in my mind.
Wishing to fill it with love.
But every time I try and try
I always seem to get crushed.

I hear words and wishes of people in the world.
But they never mean anything to me.
My mind is set, I'll be a lonely girl.
Because no one sees what love means to me.

Criticizing eyes are turned apon me
As I walk by I fight the tears.
I wonder why no one can see.
I've wanted to love for all of these years.

I always say love is impossible.
I keep my word up till today.
Cause when you hurt me your unstoppable.
Sometimes I wish It'd go away.
