Heaven

by Something Diabolical   Aug 24, 2011

Living in fear
From the demons inside
For what we hold dear
Together we stride

Nowhere to run
From the nightmares within
We shouldn't have come
For we all live in sin

Heaven is Hell
For all those who lie
Because angels can tell
What we all hide

Together we stand
For judgement has rung
This heaven so grand
The trap angels have sprung

I like this and the flow and rhyme is just about perfect throughout. A clever little piece.

    "shouldnt" needs to be fixed.
Nicely worded. i liked it. It flowed good from beginning to end.

    Gave it a 5/5
