    Oh Mel,
    YES!!!
    another poem i Completely Understood
I LOVE LOVE the use of teacup here..
you know what it is funny,
that I usually drink to escape and get calm and take it all in and breathe
yet you ..here used it to describe coming back to earth...

Waw,and 'it was dry and thirsty like my mind'
    who even??? what on...
I wanna say the F word.
    Jeezus woman...

    your metaphors
and your way of making a poem flow ever so nicely
    are just so amazing...

    Mel,
    I adore your poetry..
    I do,I do...

    You wore me
    'round your wrist
    and they asked me why
    I believed in you but
    the truth was ..
    I never did.

    ^
    what a heartbreaking ending..
    I love it,
i love that instead using simplicity
you went for complex but kept it simple..
who even wears anyone around their wristt??..

You are the most artistic person I have ever met...

    NOMINATED (:

Nicely written poem. The wording and flow of it was good all the way through. Wouldn't change a thing. Keep up the great work.

I am in awe of this poem and the talent behind it. It took my breath away and the end was a perfect stop . Excellent wording flow, and content.

Melpomene those who downrated your winner are just jealous and sick, mind them not. Five out of five.

    Once again I'm amazed.
You painted emotions convincingly and contempt was quite strong, even though you wrote it somehow indirectly. First half of the poem seems more difficult to understand, but it makes you search for its meaning. Confinement is thoroughly depicted too. It is completely refreshing. Inspiring piece.
