Covered in the dark

by Lifebinme   Aug 29, 2011

Fear the falling sun
The silence of dark
Sound has no memory but it does bark

Sold my soul to the market man and never said bye bye
I gave my heart to history and all I got was a lie
I left my mind to a traveling man, he re-payed with a laugh

Silence has it's meaning, when it strays within the night
Tell a story to a friend and he'll just leave within a sight
I can hear their words, they speak like a flood
Too many words can fill a cup of blood

Words spoken softly in the ears of the doomed
The stars may shine, but I can't see in this tomb

Another agenda hidden, only the dark may see
Another story told without me
