Words Left Unspoken

by Dark Love   Aug 29, 2011

The words that fill my head will never leave my mouth.
Thw words that fill my heart will never come out.
I refuse to speak theses words.
Because what's the point of speaking words that will never be truly heard.
They will be locked away alone with all the other mysteries of the world.
I hate not telling you what you need to know.
But the fact that you need to be told tells a lot about you.
The fact that you don't know me well enough to know, without being told.
I know you aren't a reader of the mind, but you say that you really know me.
But in reality, how much do you really know about me?
Do you see me, the real me, or just a mask of a girl?
Do you see a girl who is hurting inside, or a girl who is the face of happiness?
Do you see a girl who's heart is being held together with bandages?
I know the answer to all these questions.
To most people, I look happy and peaceful.
But I'm not.
But why would anyone care?
And that's why these words will be kept in a box at the bottom of my heart.
A box with only one key.
And that key will be submerged into a lake of tears and sorrows.
And there, these words will be left unspoken.

Sad piece. I enjoyed the metaphors that you use.
But it's ok. How do we expect someone to know us if we don't say what is wrong with us? What is bothering us? What is hurting us? So if you want someone to know you. Instead of locking your feelings you should just open them up to the one that you choose.

Nice piece. I can feel the emotions.
