We are different But we are the same

by Forever And A Day   Aug 30, 2011

He walks through life with his back against the wall,
His head is always down looking at his feet,
Minds constantly running he calls himself crazy,
He thinks no one understands, no one sees.
He stands alone, undeserving, worthless,
His troubled life burys many secrets,
Secrets he tucks so far down,
You might see all smiles but I see all frowns,
He wears a mask, a mask of a thousand lies.
Oh hes a good fooler, fooler behind a perfect disguise,
A true player with the words he feeds you,
To him he always wins, never defeated,
No one sees through his trembling eyes,
No one sees that hes hurt inside,
Little do you know, my love,
those perfect blue eyes I see through.
Take my hand, I will show you how I see,
the disguise you wear fools everyone but me.
For people see me smile, but inside I frown,
I wear a mask, a mask of a thousand lies,
I'm a good fooler, fooler behind a perfect disguise.
Look into my trembling eyes and you will see,
That you, my love, are just like me.
