FIREWORKS

Now I am like fireworks in the night sky............
glowing,
shining,
shimmering,
colorful,
wonderful,
splendid.
I used to be yours,
But after the pain,
failure,
disappointments,
heartbreaks and heartaches..
Now I am like fireworks in the night sky,
You can stare at me but you can never hold me.

    I like the comparison quite well because a firework cheers people up while it's there, but it disappears after a while too. That's why the moment should be cherished when the possibility of experiencing it is given. Well written poem.
