----We face so many obstacles in life but if we are with that special someone it becomes less frustrating, bearable and at some point even enjoyable for he/she is there for support and they make us spend more time together, Those obstacles unite us and makes us create a stronger bond with the one we love.
That someone that is with you from the thinnest to thickest of situations makes our life worth while.

I love your use of metaphor in this piece - it is so effective. The stones and thorns becoming flowers in the first stanza, the ripping of the pages from a 'yearning heart' in the second and the 'withered rose' being renewed in the last all stood out.
