No Bullets Could Ever Touch Us

by Talie   Sep 19, 2011

No bullets could ever touch us
Our heads held high in glory
We're marching on into this night.

Sweat and blood mix with tears
The soulful pray to deprive their fears
No bullets could ever touch us.

Some of us won't see the light
Like a broken record they keep repeating this
We're marching on into this night.

Minds and ranks melt into one
United we stand yet divided we'd fall
No bullets could ever touch us.

Once we too were soldiers
Sent to end the evil of this fight
We're marching on into this night.

Battle weary, our eyes droop and we feel weak
But we lift our chins and bite the cheek
No bullets could ever touch us
We're marching on into this night.
