Memories fade

The last leaf has now given in and fallen,
summer has let fall invite the cold winter in,

this love from me flows to you,
like a mighty river out into the sea,

this love has never once died,
even though, sadly i once tried,

I still remember what it's like to kiss you,
just how your sweetness tastes upon my lips,

I wish I knew what was the reason,
why or how we misplaced our season,

I still pretend your head's laid upon my shoulder,
needing you here, before this memory gets any colder!!
