What it seems

Day by day my life seems to crumble
always falling down i feel so humble
trying to survive and break the chains
nothing but thinking about these two sided lanes
which one could be right and set me free
it seems so real like i don't even exist yet still you see
when the rest are seeing the shell you have known it all
closest friend ever in this life so bleak
maybe she could have answers to these questions i seek
time constantly racing forwards no end in sight
something like a plague how can i end this blight
sun up and sun down my eyes need to be opened now
my life has so much more meaning cause of her but how
is it simple enough to do this thing
could my heart yearn for yours to sing
i been so at a loss nothing but dreams
we can beat this world together nothing has to be what it seems
