This all could be

by Occultation   Sep 28, 2011

This all could be
A place in me
I'm lost but free
A world to see

Wandering out in the dark
Striking stones till they spark
Losing track of all your ways
Staying lost for all your days

Fighting your way up to the peak
Then forgetting how to speak
Making your way and pave your road
In the end you could end up cold

Choose it wisely as you walk
Listen as your feelings talk
Time will pass under the sun
Then you will know how to run

You will never learn a thing at all
As if you just learned to crawl

This is interesting. The word choice in nice. There is a flow once you begin the second stanza but the flow of the first, does not seem to fit very well. I don't know what, but this poem is missing something. 4/5 from me
