In a Dream

by Terianne   Sep 30, 2011

In a Dream, we'd dance around
In a Dream, we'd ne'er fall down

In a Dream, no clouds are gray
In a Dream, no beauty strays

But in real life
The sky gets black,

The Beauty flees
The Hearts go slack

In real true Life
I dance Alone,

I trip and Fall
True Colors shown

No solace found
No sun can reach

No warmth in Rain
No Heart's beseech

I move with Thought
At Memory's door

Comfort in Death
And Ancients lore

A Mask put up,
A wall Rebuilt

My Eyes are dry
Tears fall as Silk

For all without
A dream to call

Is left despair
A pitiless fall.
