The Sandman and the Dreamer By: Sebastien Lorin Tides

by Sebastien Lorin Tides   Oct 6, 2011

I can see all way 'round the moon
to places you've known,
places forgot,
and dreaming unfolds.

Feelings of longing and love.
I know the sights
and I know the sounds
that make you want to stay.

All night long
heaven abounds
and reasons for being
are not far away.

I can see all way 'round the moon
to places you've known,
places forgot,
and dreaming unfolds.

For a night
we come and play.
Forget our life
and live the way
we wish we could
when we awake.
Because I can,
because I can,
I can see all way 'round the moon
to places you've known,
places forgot,
and dreaming unfolds.

First of all I love the title for its uniqueness and because of how creative it is; I have never seen anything similar and it fits to the poem really well. The title is the reason I'm here anyway because it had me really interested.
I didn't lose any of that interest while reading your poem; I was rather positively surprised because I didn't expect to find this. The idea behind this is quite original and your choice of words underline the context well. Your poem flows really fluently and I was able to follow the thoughts you devoloped. If I was to pick a favorite stanza I would actually fail since I enjoyed it all.
