Unexplained Thoughts

The feeling ferments in the room
As the sun shatters along the horizon
Darkness awakens a being within me
Zoning out reality while embarking on travels
Far away, running away from fear
For it follows my being, my essence
And the stars are unable to bring me home
Because home was never there from the start
The monsters are following my every move
With swift footsteps along my shallow grave
I am with a heart, without the will
As I suffocate under the pressure
Rinsing my sins with the vile I need
Acceptance of a hero craving a plea
And I again, begin my spiral downward
As I set myself up with failure
Falling downward and upward once more
Breaking silent nights with words kept secret
I lost myself. Where am I?
