My words
get me nowhere
except to an island
floating upon my pain.
The tears
stream down my face
and leave streaks of makeup
as I try to remember
how to breath.
My head aches.
My eyes are heavy.
My heart is broken.
I have no reason
to continue.
I've lost him.
I can no longer
call him mine.
The realization
makes life unbearable.
