Family Name

by Kirra   Oct 15, 2011

One step forward,two steps back
It's always the same
Slowly, slowly
I'm losing interest in this game
I've lost the key
Twists and turns
Lost in the maze
Of never-ending sadness
Underneath their blank gaze
Fighting off the madness
You are not like them
You think, speak, and care
To them, you are nothing more, to them
You are a mean joke to share
Family name is all that matters
One step forward, three steps back
It's slowly increasing
Faster, faster
There's no escaping
It's alright, it doesn't matter
Out of the maze and into the forest
No hope in someone cutting you slack
Lord Death meets you there with open arms
I'll close my eyes and never look back

A/N: for those who don't understand, this is basically talking about how in at least small towns like my own, depending on who you're family is, you could do anything. You get buy with so much more if you have the right name and it's wrong!
