My Window

by XtinaLiz   Oct 20, 2011

Here at my window, I can see many things
leaves blowing in the wind, a bluebird sing.

Here at my window, I can daydream
no matter how crazy real life may seem.

Here at my window, I realize
that I WILL make it one day at a time.

Here at my window, I reminisce
about the good, the bad, and the one's I miss.

Here at my window, I feel free
to do what I want, to be me.

Here at my window.

Nice poem, elegant in it's simplicity and full of affirmation. I liked the initial use of the imagery (the bluebird) and think if you added more it would improve the poem.
