Skywards

Eyes touch a solemn sky,
A subtle embrace,
From the stars that smile down,
Giving the forlorn the comfort,
they've been searching for.

    Sometimes short poems say things best. I thought this was a form, but maybe not. Its very close to a Tanka. % lines 5,7,5,7,7,
