And thus the Angels fall

by Brookexox   Oct 30, 2011

A love is born;
Strong and unyielding.
The Angel is wracked with scorn,
The Maiden left unshielded.
Archangels scream their defiance,
And take the Angel from earths surface.
The Angel will not form an alliance,
He is not compliant.
He hears the tears fall from his maidens eyes,
With every grieving drop a part of him dies.
The goddess Nyx;
Hears her daughters cries,
Her eyes a liquid onyx,
As she confronts the ranks of angels for this web of lies.
A single tear drop falls from the maidens cheek;
and meets the earths crust a minute before dawn,
And thus the Angels fall.
