Tonight

by Sydney   Nov 5, 2011

One AM has never been so welcoming
The cold streets are a warning that I ignore
I add to your ever growing guilt and pain
So tell me, why can't you leave me alone more.
You know they whisper about me,
I can even hear them on these still-cold streets
And you know what bothers me the most tonight?
Not that I'm alone, not that nothing's right
But that I'm giving up my life
And the hardest part about trying to do that when it's one at night
Is that there are no cars to jump in front of
And end my life
Not many cars in the streets tonight
Not many cars for suicide, love.
