Monster shaped by a Beast

by Famous Last Words   Nov 6, 2011

What we were meant to be survives,
Throughout the empty stories within our lives
It goes on through space and time
Reaching to other carring minds

Things i believed in, seem so distant now
I thought I could fight for you, and that you'd come around

Just look at me, what I've become,
It's all because of you.
I am a monster, shaped by a beast
After my inner battles, searching for peace
Now there's nothing i can do

And what good is it winning a battle,
If the war will never end;
And sacrificing everything,
putting lives at stake

And if it is ever over it will all be destroyed
Because to you there is no truce
It's always win or die,
rather than to face the truth.

Hallow, lies my heart
Deep inside, it's remains are scarred,
If we could only go back to the start
Fix the mistakes that haunt you past,
Heal your wounds so that they wouldn't hurt so bad,
Maybe I'd still know who you are
Maybe you wouldn't have grown so mad
To take it on me and everyone,
maybe I'd still know who you are.

Precious memories, of a childhood left behind
I'll thank you but I can't keep living and feeding off of lies.
And soon It'll be my time to leave,
Because in your excuses and "forgive me"s, not anymore, I do'nt believe.

Don't worry I won't blame you,
Though I don't have the humanity to forgive you,
I will forget,

And maybe I'll see you once again,
When the earth is dust, and there is no more pain.
When they come for us,
With compassion, innocent children;
or with judgement, ignorant fools,
Whatever happens, you raised me,
so I'll rise up and beg mercy for you.
