This time last year I made a friend
Her place in my life will never end
A working mother so busy is she
Yet she still finds a little time for me
This friend is very strong and tough
She's cool and kind and never gruff
She's full of ideas and really so bright
When she's made up her mind she will put up a fight
On paper we have nothing the same
But when we're together funs always the game
Don't worry if she is not there at the time
She will always turn up and the night will be fine
For one so small it's amazing to see
But that girl can eat much more than me
She's fit with her running and goes to the gym
Has nothing to fear and will always be slim
She always has on that charming kind smile
To see her face I would surely crawl for a mile
She will really go far at making money
She's serious at times but mainly funny
I have never met anyone like this
Perhaps one day I can steal her kiss
Whenever I am down I think of her smile
That soon gets me right, to go the extra mile

In good times or bad right till the end
