A Spark Shy

by Lofallenve   Nov 14, 2011

You can be like the handsome sun,
And I'll be your pretty little moon;
We'll dance together to an unheard tune;
And like an artiste and his muse,
We'll embellish the cerulean sky,
With more than just modest shades of blue;
We'll kindle this spark that quivers and shakes,
Catching fire to our magnum opus,
Illuminating the shaded sky with
Emeralds, magenta and amethysts.
For we are just a spark shy,
From pirouetting like fireworks,
Exploding like a kaleidoscope of colors.
