Butterfly Wings

by Lofallenve   Nov 15, 2011

I swear I can fly
On these butterfly wings of mine;
Grip the ledge with my toes,
Throw myself off,
Leaving behind a world of woes--
I'll trace the indigo skyline,
With my wings of symmetric design.
Feeling the wind caress my hair,
In its gentle love affair.
The glory of the sun sets
While the rise of the moon begets,
Showing the nocturnal cobalt sky.
On and on I'll fly,
On these butterfly wings of mine;

    So inspirational, indeed.

    I really like the shades of colors used, 'indigo' and 'cobalt'. I think they resembles our aspirations and ambitions. Everyone of us craves flying. I mean, literally craving. Anyway, I have found this piece really interesting and smooth with a little bit of musicality.

    Great.
