Requisite

I need him tonight--
The clouds mask the stars,
The only place I could find my solace.
The moon shows its austere rotund face,
It's desolate presence only making mine more.
My fingertips run down the frosty pane glass,
Leaving small trails of the cold melted.
It's been long into the night--
I've tossed and turned in this bed,
Sleep only a faraway fairytale,
There will be no serenity for me,
The demons that bay and howl,
Have kept me up into the dawn hours.
The sun peaks over the tips of the barren trees,
Peeking through the branches,
Reflecting over the bleak white snow.
The colors are beautiful I know.
But still I sit here on my own,
The voices of the demons only fleeting,
Coffee fills up my mug, warming my numb hands,
I'm somewhat prepared to take on the day,
Although the feeling of need will remain,
But out loud it shall never be made known.
How I'm soaked to the skin in the need of him.

I like the descriptions but in the begining it seems like you use alot of big words or ones I dont know, and that made me a bit bored. But as it went on the descriptions really evened the poem out for me.
