I'd Eat the stars and swallow galaxies to bring you back

by Marcus blake   Nov 25, 2011

I'd push the clouds aside and destroy galaxies to bring you back to life
I'd eat stars and darken the universe just see your glimmer...
I feel at home in the cosmos cause the coldness is bearable
could you forgive a foolish man for all he hasn't done, for all he couldn't do
Such pain consumed lead me to release hatred, i am the product of my own misery
The mellowness of life that one avoids though happiness i find comfort in
The only light i appreciate is the moons beauty, for like you it illuminates my soul
I've written several poems for you, and i visit your grave often...
When i let go it'll be to late, and the man that once loved, forever loves
He continues to lay and waste away in the memory of your past as it is forever his present
For no future is better without you in it, i have much to live for but it is you that drives me
I see now there is a limit to everlasting, nothing is forever...
