When you want a reason let me know Colab w/Derrick Merdy

"You walked out into the cold rain
I did not call a taxi for you, you just ran out
You were always in a hurry, as though always searching for some unattainable patch of your own on this small planet
The same melody of those same keys that played a song ever so gently
She asked me if life could be that beautiful, if the world was that simple
I wanted to share secrets of this world with her
but those eyes, those hateful eyes that shine like blood ruby's from here delicate fragile face
Will never change...
Later you sent me a text saying you had caught a cold from the rain
But that it was a small price for our moment of happiness
I read that text often for the brief memory of that night "I held you like fine rain"
Daylight approached, my darkest thoughts restrained, held up insist on being real
"Love must end in tragedy to be perfect", I am sure I have said something on the lines to "her" before
There's no need to pretend, our affairs where written in unerasable ink
So from the very day you decided to prolong the misery, I became your end
It's a foolish idea to think that you can control anything
Did the love of natural occurrences and phenomenons become so unpopular?
That you had to create your own sensation of love
Unable to ever let go...
I had actually said to say to you "In the beginning, hand in hand, we ride recklessly wherever we wish, like happy waves Splashing on a vast ocean" ....but ultimately, we are bound to be smashed on the rocks
You would never have foreseen "the End"
Escaping passion yet caught between the tangled ropes of a fantasy I had thought passed away
Would i write about her this day my times and memories spent wasted and cherished
would she cease to be like a phantom would demons steal her from me like the rain did
Our end was not fate, destiny, or coincidence you just left me and I left you
All i remember is rain, water falling and covering my face
Then you like everything else unnecessary to me you faded away

"I read that text often for the brief memory of that night "I held you like fine rain" -Derrick Merdy-
