Black

by Hollow Face   Nov 26, 2011

The color you register with hate
misunderstood and cast aside
when evil rakes its claws of fate black is to blame
its hidden in the shadows afraid to peer out
its forever in battle with all things bright

its head hung low in shame and fright
the battles never over and never won
but those of kindness are rewarded some
the one to go last with nothing to ask
its only friend a cloud of shame
it sides with evil on every fight
