Drenched in Fear

by Hollow Face   Apr 4, 2013

Silence exploding.
I thought you would smile before you would weep,
But that chance is over now.
Already tears are dripping, flowing down your face.

Just do one more thing for me:
Let me hear you sing before you scream in pain.
It will cheer me up, if that's possible.
Light has all been extinguished in this place long ago,
Though the sun should shine before the rain.

There's nothing
Except our footsteps echoes off the walls.
Don't let the evil frighten you, and please don't cry,
Even though the feeling of joy is not here at all,
And I know you know
They'll tell the truth only after the lies.

Nothing but evil exists in this dreadful place,
So dark, it makes you wonder,
Is it better to live or better to die?
Everything in this place is drenched in fear,
But you know you must jump if you want to fly--
You must try.
