Without you.

by Hollow Face   Nov 27, 2011

Without you, my heart would shrivel
like a blossom deprived of sunlight and water.

Without you, my soul would be snatched
by the hungry claws of loss.

Without you, silent tears
would stream down my quickly fading face.

Without you, my very purpose
would be erased from this world.

Without you, my tale
would be left forever untold.

But with you, my heart would flourish
like a springtime bloom.

With you, my soul would be spared
by your loving clutch.

With you, my tears would be
of pure happiness, of relief.

With you, my purpose would remain
and I would be anchored to this earth by the strings of your love.

With you, my tale
would finally come to a lovely conclusion;
'And they both lived happily ever after.'
