My letter to God

I know i cant repay you
for all that you have done
but i can tell the world that you are the one

You held my hand in the darkness
and guided me to the light
you stood by my side
even when i wasn't right

you took it all away from me
all my sins and my failures
you cast away all my troubles
with just a little prayer

you wiped every one of my tears
you ceased all of my fears
and when the devil was near
you would always appear

your love saved me
your faith changed me
you essence soothed me
your perfection inspired me

and you are not just my father
you are my best friend
because you did what no one could
you saved me from sin

so i know i can't repay you
for all that you have done
but i will live the rest of my life
telling the world you are the one
