Your Picture

by Temptation   Jun 24, 2004

I looked at your picture for teh first time today
Usually I just look the other way
You’re sitting there smiling straight at me
Do you remember how we used to be?
This picture haunts me day and night
My mind cunjures up a heart rending sight
To everyone else it’s nothing
But to me it’s absolutely everything
We were there together
The picture lives forever
Smiling and happy we were indeed
You were and are all I need
On the surface no-one can see
Just what this picture set free
But once freed locked away again
Yet this pointlessly perfect pictures will remain
