Later than week there was a dance.
All you gave me was one good glance.
I came up and talked to you but you had no clue
That I Karis Byrd was in love with you.

So we talked and then became more than friends.

I was anxious at first like i was just ten.
To your open arms i crawled right in.

We finally found that we were perfect together
Nobody could pair us any better.

He became my best best friend.
