Undress Me

Undress me with your eyes

Until you realize physical beauty is built up on lies.

See the material things cover insecurities, a psuedo confidence is what it brings.

Undress me.

You still have layers to go

Undress me mentally, this time intellectually

And maybe just maybe you'll get a glimpse of the real me

I speak with my thoughts, though sometimes I may not sound smart it's a persona I use at will.

My first impression is merely a weapon, of course used as self defense.

I am who I am, not who you want me to be

So go on, undress me.

Undress me down bare, go on stare

Layer after layer you've shed

You've finally reached my emotions.

Now this is me in my entirety

Just me, me.. pure me.

I smile with ease 'cause I'm easily pleased, simplicity is what I adore.

My temper changes to all kinds of ranges but believe me.. it's hardly seen.

Now I won't lie, I do in fact cry..

Because shedding tears is just natural.

And I simply love to love.

Though I hardly admit it.

Undress me.

Undress me down bare, go on stare

There are layers and layers to me.
