To the One I've Never Met

by Skarletta   Dec 29, 2011

Wake up in a cold sweat to evening sun
How long have I been missing
How many people did not care
What happens when the person preventing my suicide
Dies inside of my soul
If only the bottles weren't so bright
If only the razors were out of reach
No wonder you left me before I met you
Keeping you is like keeping a straight face as I laugh
I've never seen you but I love you
But before I knew of your existance
I loved myself blindly
You left without blood, you left without drma
Tell me, babe, if I died to come after you
Would you be ashamed of me
Tell me, babe, if I shed these hidden tears
Would you see them fall
And come back to me
So I can love an image
Not an idea of one shoved away beyond my reach
Like the help I needed to love you unconditionally?
