The Men of Tomorrow

by Judy Summerhill   Jan 2, 2012

From the boys of today
come the men of tomorrow
Let them find their own joy
and not take on our sorrow
Let them always have sunshine
but not mind the rain
May they always have health
but have strength to fight pain
Let them always know love and
and know how to be kind
May they find many treasures
and enjoy what they find
May they always see others in a
positive light, but if conflict they
find, let them speak and not fight
May their journeys be smooth
wherever they go, over cobbles or sand
or high peaks of snow.
And when they are old and recall days
as a boy, may they have few regrets
but more memories of joy.
