Still Falling For You

It's time to be honest with myself,
I can't hold this inside much longer.

I have been striving, to hold you -
even through all the pain you put my heart through.

I can not pretend anymore, I still love you.

Yes, you broke me.
I put aside my pride, and admitted it's true.

From this point, I'm going to accept
the fact, that I'm still falling for you.

After two years, three months, and
however many long, hopeless days.

I came to the point,
where I am done.

If I can forget the words that cut me so deep,
then why can't I just forget you?

    Awww :( I love sad love poems, but this is real sad. I hate that. Thats truy the worse when you can forget about memories, words, smells, etc of another but you just cant forget them....it will happen with time. Thats all we can rely on in those situations. Very nice write!
