Law of the Imagination

by Ronnie   Jan 8, 2012

I've often wondered about the diversity of life and how things evolve and change.

Imagine one day you tripped up in your mind and fell into a world of nothing but strange.

Where the air didn't blow it had roots and grew in strands of sharp bladed clouds

Where babies didn't weep they would roar like lions a force which could knock down crowds

Where the oceans would blow and gust and the waves would float to the shores.

Fruit would fall up, flowers would grow down and at night the stars light would protrude up from the floor.

A place where if we wanted to be heard we would whisper softly and the gentle sound would weave through the noise.

Your thoughts weren't your own and secrets were visable floating through the space orbiting your uneasy poise.

Where the suns beam touched all the colour was bleached and created a sepia toned view.

On the other side was the moon and it flipped like coin and colour would be restored into unseen tones of new.

Where a sight was a feeling and the passion of others could be seen by a simple glimpse of their hearts.

Where music was air and paintings were food and to live and grow our minds consumed all the arts.

This is a world which might sound, ridiculous, impossible and quite truly absurd to the imaginatively blind.

But who made these rules of gravity, birth and sounds, a spirit and a force much greater than yours or mine.
