The Veil

by Zulay Martinez   Jan 9, 2012

Rumors hide like a veil
Cold as ice like a veil
hidden secrets soft as ice
Sharp as lies sharp as lies
Spells that are unbound
Shameless whisper all around
Singing sirens alluring voice
Voice of angel ready to trap
Faded as we walk as we breathe
Never to speak, never to see
Shiver trimmer shaken by our own
Giving way to innocence, Innocence for told
Hear the silence a constant reminder after all
A seeking companion never trusting none above all
Distrust redemption seeking existence
Trying not fall
Holding on to a veil, a veil that hides it all
