This moment

by Haley Elizabeth   Jan 13, 2012

Fingers intertwined,
Arm so strong yet gentle around my shoulders.
I'm safe with you here next to me,
If only this moment could last forever.
Words being whispered for only my ears to hear,
It couldn't get any better than this.
Nothing for me to worry about,
Our faces only inches apart leaves me breathless,
For the fact just a little bit closer and our lips will meet.
Though the moment is over too soon,
I'll remember it forever,
And will feel the pull that brings me toward you,
As my heart skips a beat,
And butterflies flutter in my stomach.
